Hello friends! Welcome to my blog "Be With Me in Belize". This is where I will be posting updates on my experiences living and serving in Belize with Jesuit Volunteer Corps over the next two years. Starting in July I will be moving to Belize City to live in community and work as an assistant campus minister at St. John's Catholic High School (check out the school by clicking on the link!). I'll be helping coordinate liturgy, retreats, and the service program for the students. I'm super excited for the joys and the challenges to come!

| As many of you know, last summer I served as a LifeTeen Missionary in Arizona. I'm so psyched to continue the mission of leading teens closer to Christ! |
JVC is an organization which has sent volunteers to serve people experiencing poverty around the country and around the world for the past 30 years. The program is centered on the values of spirituality, community, simple living, and social justice. For the next two years, I will be living with a small group of volunteers, supported by the local Jesuit community. I will be challenged to live in solidarity with the poor in many ways, immersing myself in the local culture and experiencing life with the Belizeans!
Where's Belize?
Belize is in Central America, just south of Mexico. I'll be living and serving in Belize City, on the Caribbean coast.
